Arjun , a 13 year old young aspirant boy from an affluent family, leaves home happily with his cricket kit in the morning for his routine cricket practice. He asks for a lift from a stranger on a motor cycle .The duo meets with a tragic accident and Arjun dies on the spot. His parents, Rakesh and Supriya find different ways to cope with their son’s untimely death. Eventually, they seem to drift apart from each other’s lives. Rakesh indulges more on his work as an architect. Deep within, he feels guilty of not dropping Arjun for the cricket practice, on the ill-fated day. Meanwhile, Supriya tries to do various activities to keep her engaged, but fails miserably. Rakesh even refuses to have another child as he believes that he cannot bear another loss As days go by, Supriya finds it more and difficult to outlive the pain .As advised by one of her close associates she decides to foster two boys from a child care centre.
